Actually... The third reich supported a "positive christianity" in order to recieve the christian vote, they were NOT really in actual support of christianity. Positive christianity meant nothing but a paganistic worship of the germanic race. That is all. The church was afaik NOT aware of this in the beginning, bedazzled by the words of positive christianity, but supporters of the NSAP WERE present in the church even AFTER the real agenda was made apparent.

Oh no no no, Nazis didn't pay lip service, Hitler was a VERY devout Catholic, had the full support of the Pope and church, read the bible unlike most, and if you think it odd for the Catholic Church to support Jewish genocide, you clearly forgot the Spanish Inquisition. (as opposed to not expecting it; lol) Side note: The current pope is a former Hitler youth.
