Black Ops Red Dot vs Reflex Side by Side

This video is to help settle part of the debate about what the differences are between the red dot sight and the reflex sight in COD: Black Ops. I am only comparing the time to aim down the sight (ADS), with and without sleight of hand pro (SOH Pro), and the zoom of each.

There is some debate about whether the reflex sight has lower recoil or not. Wings of Redemption posted a video that seems to show that the reflex sight does in fact have lower recoil.

However the guru of video game gun stats Den Kirson says that is not the case, so I don't know what to believe with respect to that topic

"No other attachment aside from obvious exceptions (Snub Nose) affect the recoil of a weapon.
In fact, the only recoil-related attachment changes are the CenterSpeed.
The Red Dot and Reflex are completely benign and only serve as iron sight replacements."

WoodysGamertag posted a video on Machinima discussing the sights and saying the magnification is different between the two sights. His video does show a difference but I think this difference is most likely because he isn't standing in the exact same spot or he was looking in a slightly different direction with the two sights. You can see mild variations in his two side by side images.
