Love Walked In - Solo Piano and Trio

A wonderful melody on this classic Gershwin tune provides a great vehicle for improvisation. I tried to do a little bit of reharmonization during the solo piano rubato intro and then play the trio version using the new "Real Drums" and "Real Bass" accompaniment feature of the program Band-in-a Box. These are actual musicians playing drums and an upright bass but all programmed through the Band-in-a-Box program from PGMusic. It's a fantastic practice aid and well worth the investment.

I will try to add some annotations using the YouTube annotate feature shortly to help decipher some of the techniques I use.

Technical Notes: MIDI keyboard generated by PowerTracks Pro software (PGMusic) captured on screen using Camtasia software then re-sized and lined-up with FP-4 keyboard in Adobe Premiere Elements.
A few technical glitches in this one and sync is slightly off during the trio section, but close enough.

If this was classical - it would be like Franz Liszt playing Chopin but in your case Gershwin and other great composers of the great standards in the jazz genre
