I have had Crohns for over 35 years and he is right the pain experienced is beyond what the body can take. High doses of Morphine are needed when a blockage occurs. I have had three resection operations over the years. People need to understand what we go through everyday in our lives. It is no picnic that is for sure plus this disease can make a patient very depressed.

Eloquently said...it is good to know that you are such a great ambassador for this debilitating disease. My 20 year old son has had it for the past year and it has been hell on earth. He is now considering taking the Humira pen treatment which scares me to death.
