Another remarkable theme from the legendary PC-game Quake, released in 1996, which became a worthy follower of the id-software´s cult Doom. But what makes this game a very special one is the dark creepy occult soundtrack composed by Trent Reznor. It´s a masterpiece from the highest adept of his branch. Quake is still considered as one of the best soundtracks ever...

halls with walls of stone, wood, and metal that are long forgotten and filled with things that gives the feeling of you shouldn't even be here and that something is watching and waiting either just down that hall or around a corner behind you, that's what thins music makes me think

You should try it out. A nice blend of dark scifi and lovecraftian theme.

"OPEN IN NEW TAB" except that i can listen this psychotic rhythm for hours i also ran it in several windows simultaneously and its cool again with the faster pace!
Star control 2 is a game with incredible theme music for looping as well (the original music)
