Should Muslim students be able to wear full veils to school?

Many Muslims believe that within Islam, girls and women should cover themselves, including their hair, up. Some girls cover up all of their faces, except for eyes, in a scarf called Nikab. Freedom of religion is a fundamental right. However, a Nikab makes it very difficult to identify the student at school and creates various communication barriers. When it is difficult to identify the student, the school cannot guarantee, that intruders won't enter the school in a similar disguise. Should the full face veil be allowed?

i support the ban. ALL muslims are saying they have to wear it. Can an European go to an Islamist state and not wear the hijab? Will she say as an european, she will not abide? If the Dfes says they do not want it, so be it. I agree with a comment in the video, "if it is not part of the uniform, it should be banned" including those who wear next to nothing..

The full veil is not a requirement of Islamic laws,it is a personal choice. Or the decision of a bully an repressive husband or farther...! A muslim woman can maintain her honour an modesty with her face showing..! U also hav the choice to find out wat the acceptable uniform rules are before attending,so if u don't like the rules then go somewhere else.! Uniform is a schools right to uphold and enforce. Everyone,no matter what religion must obey or quite simply..! Fuckoff..!

@xekul I absolutley agree with you...You cant live in a country and not abide by the laws however, In the US we have the freedom to represnt our religions, sexualities and cultures as we please as long as it is not against the US constitution. with that being said, how is wearing a full veil disrespecting our country? I wasn't allowed to wear jeans or T-shirts in my school. We has a dress code: trousers, shirt, tie. Fuck you muslim cunts who think you can bend the rules. This is our country and WE make the rules! If you don't like the rules of our schools, fuck off back to your own country.

As long as the school has their information on record, and the Muslims don't try to throw up any sort of resentment to the school being able to take a picture of the girl's/lady's face, I see no problem with it

We are not aloud jewellery or hats, we have to wear uniform. So what makes mythical 'religion' any different? It's the law and they would have to follow it.
