WOW! That takes me back...WAY back!! 13th floor elevators were a super 'groovy' group!! I will check out the other old videos attached here...should be great! 'You're Gonna Miss Me", yea, thats what I tell all my men as I walk out the door!!

Ha! I live in Va. I think the13 Floor Elevators are mad underated and unknown. But I've even met dudes who don't know who Pink Floyd. I remember wearing a Floyd shirt and someone said "what's on your shirt" and I told them they were photos of Pink Floyd album covers and they asked what Pink Floyd was. That shit blew my mind. Plus If I'm correct 13FE only had 3 albums so I don't expect anyone to know who they are regardless of how old they are.

@melm4402 Yeah, a jug. It produces that instantly recognizable sound that the Elevators are known for. I believe some jugs have electrical components and are thus referred to as electric jugs, but in this particular video it appears to be only an amplified jug. Many people find the instrument interesting, but many also find it rather annoying and bothersome. Personally, I dig it. It's just one more thing that adds to the grooviness of the 13th Floor Elevators!
