Optimal development of athletic speed and power is achieved by maximizing the rate at which muscular force can be generated. optimal speed and power development can not be accomplished with low velocity training workouts used for developing muscle strength, namely heavy workouts with slow repetitions. Slow moving repetitions with heavy weight are great for developing low velocity strength but they do not allow athletes start repetitions explosively or accelerate throughout the repetition to achieve high training velocities which is required to develop high speed strength or great power output.

The thigh flexor muscles used to drive the leg forward when the foot breaks contact with the ground are considered to be the primary muscle group involved in sprinting. Unfortunately, the vast majority of athletes never dynamically load the foot when it breaks contact with the ground entering the Swing Phase of the running motion. Athletes train the Drive Phase constantly every time they perform squats, plyometrics, run with parachutes and pull sleds training the quad, gluts and calves. Having good hip flexor strength and power is critical for the acceleration portion of the swing phase where most of your running speed and power are generated. If hip flexor power development is neglected, an athlete will forfeit a significant portion of their speed performance potential. Vertimax corrects this problem by allowing athletes to conduct high speed sprint training while simultaneously loading the Drive and Swing Phase during linear, lateral and back pedal speed training. The net effect of this advanced training methodology is far superior speed training gains.

Never forget this important fact. Being strong doesn't guarantee you'll be explosive. The stronger you are the more explosive potential you have. However, an athlete's explosive potential can only be realized if their strength can be optimized for maximum rate of force production or power output. That is accomplished by combining traditional weight training protocols with EFFECTIVE high speed light load training. I emphasized effective because many of the elastic training devices and techniques which this video points out do not effectively load the initial phase of explosive movement.   • Alright there! Have you heard the talk about - fast abs magic (do a google search)? Ive heard some super things about it and my m8 got ripped 6 pack abs and lost crazy amounts of belly fat with it.

  • Something u can do similar to this if u dont have any money.is get in a pool thats atleast 4 feet.and jump up just like there doing on the video.it creates resistance too.i didvit one time and i could touch the rim.i could only touch the backboard atfirst.remember this was on 10 feet.im 5 '8
