  • "6 out of 10 movies never recoup"

And 9 out of 10 movies suck, we should do more I say!

  • Very one-sided. Who were the tools that made this, and how much did they get paid? I know they might want to get into the Film industry but is kissing the MPAA's ass really necessary?

Most independent studies have shown a very different picture...

  • Great comment.

  • yah, not in favor of piracy, but im tired of all the anti-piracy "campaigns".... most of the results that are posted as "losses" to the industry are fake and rigged. In all actuality, companies are making more than ever by sellig their media and software. dont give all this crap.

  • THIS IS A PRO-PIRACY COMMENT. THIS IS A PRO-PIRACY COMMENT:

    Piracy: IT'S AWWRIGHT!

  • "Worldwide motion picture industry lost 18.2 billion because of piracy" - No they didn't. People weren't going to pay for them in the first place.

"6/10 Movies never recoup their original investment" - Well with the proportion of crap movies to great ones is ridiculous (how movies like The Hottie and the Nottie even get greenlighted is beyond me), and cinema tickets are expensive, it's no wonder why. Good movies still make money, just look at Iron Man grossing $100 million in its first week.

  • I laugh that you list industry losses as an argument against piracy when I use it as my main motivation to pirate all I can.

I find it pretty sickening that anyone can argue against sharing things with their fellow human beings and in favour of lining the pockets of already rich shareholders who contribute nothing to the end product or to the community in general.

If more media was produced simply by cooperation of those directly involved in its production then I would be more likely pay for it

  • what a load of bollocks!

    Pirates rule!

  • You suck. Everyone loves piracy.

  • FUCK YOU, piracy rules

  • Good video, but you spelled the word sentence wrong at the end.

  • yaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrr! shiver me timbers!
