@chillifan14life dude they're mad as! i loved their old stuff as well, been with them since the beginning, the face of punk and funk has changed, they've made a new sound, every new band will be striving to be like them :) just be happy they've made a new album really, thats what im so pumped about :D rhcp for life

I don't like Josh, it seems like he doesn't control the bendings in the solos. I also think that in all the perfomances, josh's guitar is very quiet, all the other instruments are louder...

The new guitarist really brings a new sound to the band. Its a much darker one. Its almost as if he avoids to solo like John did and relies more on feedback from his guitar. John is a tough act to fill in for but this guy really changes the overall mood of the RHCP I dont know if it s a good or bad thing but when I listen to them play the old tunes, its not as good .

i love the chilli peppers and i hope josh soes well and give him all my support but i wish josh  would stop pussying out of solos and stop hideing behing that delayed guitar effect, come on josh man up

On the SA tour they had a second guitarist (Josh), and later he has replaced John. Now they have Mauro... Chad..:(

im sure frusciante wasnt the most confident player when first playing with rhcp, infact AK's even mentioned that he felt very worried about filling in for hillel. its just that it was so long ago that we only remember the amazingly natural side to him, josh is getting there and fast!

Well I mean you shouldn't be so negative comic book guy. After all they seem to have a renewed freshness, Josh just keeps getting better, Anthony's vocals sound very nice, Flea has a lot of gratitude and Chad is smiling.
