The obvious answers to your question would be:
A: minimise prolonged and unnecessary suffering if the resources are not there to begin with.
B: There is simply no way I can force a women to give birth against her will, if she doesn't want the baby.

I was just on the Planned Parenthood website and looked at the tax documents they have posted. I am no tax expert, so I was hoping you could take a look and see if I am missing something. From what I read, I saw them having a total of $69,978,700 in expenses with $85,758,316 in revenue. I also think that grants from the government are not considered taxable income, which would increase profits further. I'm curious about this whole bit. Can you help me out?

jwichgers, Soo, because one man (Pope Paul VI) overturned the MAJORITY vote (30-5) within the vatican, regarding the use of birth control, makes it more legitimate..? Interesting...;-). Aren't the Canadian Bishops part of the catholic church as well? The fact that they are at odds with the ultra conservative Pope on the birth control issue (Winnipeg statement), is perhaps one major reason why Canada have half the abortion rate we do;-)... What do you think?
