@03buck13 That sounds pretty easy. I need to back a 53' Trailer in to docks or parking spots between other trailers with as little as 6" on either side. But hey, That's why I'm a professional driver and you're just a weekend warrior at best. The shorter the trailer, the harder it is to back. Backing a garden trailer with a quad is harder than anything else I need to back.
and the longer it is between the attachment point and first axle .....the easier it is......shorter tongue is harder because once the trailer starts to turn if you don't correct it right away- BINGO JACKNIFE!
In all honesty, it is mainly that the trailers made for ATVs are so small that makes them hard to back up. The larger a trailer is, the easier it is to back up, but the smaller they get, the more of a pain in the ass they are. I'm not talking size wise, I mean in terms of weight.

u say thats hard? try backing a gooseneck down a narrow dirt drive way.
