@LaurenRoseUK Sanctuary closed in 2003 by then it was mainly a Drum & Bass venue anyway. If you tried to jump the fence and you got caught you got a bit of a beating!! I can't think of a service station near there really it was surrounded by industrial estates. Only place I could think of could be Bletchley really that's the only place in walking distance! Nowadays there are no 'Happy Hardcore' raves! but up North they are keeping Hardcore alive.

@edgetiq oh my gosh...that has made me a little bit sad. I used to go down every month for slammin after Bowlers shut (in manc, where Im originally from). Does anyone remember that service station where you'd see loads of really battered people after it shut? hahaha...in amongst the normal people, covered in shit all up your legs (probably wearing very little) and walking through wide eyed and bushy tailed. aw good times anyway x
