The luxury of a Cadillac and the performance of a Corvette have collided to create a beautiful blend of speed and styling with the introduction of the XLR. Equipped with the same 5.7 liter V-8 engine featured on the Corvette Z06 and producing 400 horsepower and 390 lb.-ft of torque, the XLR is a new generation of domestic performance-bred luxury coupes. Until recently, luxury coupes with high performance characteristics were left to the marvels of German engineering, and those wishing to buy domestic were left with no options until now.
As an acclaimed U.S. manufacturer of performance exhaust systems for Corvettes, it was second-nature for Billy Boat to embrace an exhaust mod for the LS6 equipped XLR. Track-tested at Germany's famed Nürburgring, the V-Series represents a new class of spirited and sophisticated Cadillac's. Billy Boat Performance set out to develop a system that reflects the newly redefined Cadillac edginess with a perfectly tuned and styled exhaust system.

The Fusion is a bi-modal exhaust system, meaning it has two passages, or modes, that the exhaust can travel through the muffler. Each of the mufflers has two outlets, with one side having a butterfly type valve which allows the exhaust flow to be shut off, regulating which side of the muffler the flows exhaust. One side of the muffler is the "quiet" side, and one side is the "loud" side. The "quiet" side is a smaller, muffled and chambered tube, while the "loud" side is 3" tubing straight through.

  • 5.7 v8? when did an XLR ever have this? smh..... never

  • FYI...no XLR has "a 5.7 liter V-8 engine featured on the Corvette Z06 and producing 400 horsepower and 390 lb.-ft of torque"...rather the XLR-V has a 4.4L Supercharged Northstar producing 443hp/414tq. The standard XLR has a 4.6L Northstar producing 320hp/310tq.

    The exhaust sounds great though!

  • It doesn't have a 5.7 goofball... Do some research stupid, It's a 4.6 L northstar, the xlr-v is the same 4.6 supercharged.

  • it has a fucking zo6 engine

  • XLR V has a LC3 4.4l Northstar with an Eaton Supercharger... looks bad to have a company not even know what engine is in the car they're producing parts for...

  • @NenuCoYVESS the car size dosnt matter......its a 5.7L V8.....weirdo

  • The camera is dogsh*t. Makes the car sound like a milk truck. And you may want to change the description since these cars never had or shared any Corvette engines under the hood lol. One would expect BB exhausts to know this already. All that said, the XLR is a stunning work of art.

  • The sound on this car sounds badass but it does not go with car! The sound that it makes is like for a bigger car!  just an opinion! 

  • Saw an XLR last night with the same Exhaust sounded gorgeous

  • IVE HEARD BETTER EXHAUST FROM THESE AND YOUR RIGHT THESE NEVER HAD A CORVETTE ENGINE IN THESE ONLY NORTHSTARS BUT THE NORTHSTARS ARE VERY EXLUSIVE
