Cool Golden Arrow made for and sold by Radio Shack ! I was in the same boat as you and instead of the Grasshopper, my parents got me a Nikko Lobo from sears in 1987. I loved that car, wish I had kept it, along with the thousands of dollars worth( now days) of old 80`s toys that were lost...............

when i was kid couldnt afford a tamiya but i had a golden arrow was my prized possesion, i loved that car.

Thanks for that video, so many of these vintage Tamiya videos bring back such wonderful childhood memories.... standing in the mall at the hobby shop watching the Tamiya videos over and over and over...I wanted all of the cars and trucks and still do:o)
