  • What is this trashy advertisement before such a work of genius...

  • How does the riff to "Oh Well", resemble the riff to "Black Dog"? Peter Green need to be paid!

  • Yeah!!! Muy buena

  • Peter Green was a musical great for certain, but I'm not sure the side-splitting humor in "Rattlesnake Shake" necessarily qualifies him as a "comedic genius!" Man, people love to be heard, and YouTube sure does provide a forum for people to just say anything!!

  • @pythons37 you cant compare them, only idiots do that, bloomfield amazing and works with modes like miles davis, hes brilliant, page is brilliant and green is brilliant, there all my favorite lol :)

  • @yuvp I agree. I'm pretty pissed that until Youtube popped up, I had never heard of Peter Green. Now, I can't get enough. I hate to rank these guys, they all play stuff I want to listen to, but I like this kind of blues the best. Mike Bloomfield comes to mind, too. There are so many good players, but Mr. Green seems to fit the best, for me.

  • I see many times people try to compare PG to other guitarists like Clapton or Page etc', well all of them have great technic and great touch but for me when it comes to soul PG is miles away on another level really, his playing gives me shiver down my spine and almost wanna weep its so full and right its amazing.

  • This is one my favourite tracks of all time - a 3-piece band cutting the mustard - sounds like it's recorded live. The guitar sound and phrasing is utterly magnificent.

  • @mrgordons Listen to Wagoner's Lad by Bert Jansch, totally influenced Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp. I love Jimmy though man, he's amazing and has helped me know about other great artists.
