A CALL TO MEN - Ending Violence Against Women

A CALL TO MEN is a leading national men's organization addressing men's violence against women, and the eradication of sexism, while maintaining strong coalitions with women's organizations already doing this important work. We help to organize communities in order to raise awareness and get men involved in ending violence against women. www.acalltomen.org

A CALL TO MEN believes that ending violence against women is primarily the responsibility of men. Although historically it has been almost entirely women who have been at the forefront addressing this issue, we think it is essential that men play a primary role in the solution to end it. To do that, well-meaning menmen who, for the most part don't see themselves as part of the problemneed to get involved.

By strategizing with groups across the United States, our vision is to shift social norms that define manhood in our culture, and produce a national movement of men committed to ending violence against women. A CALL TO MEN is unique in its ability to be affirming and respectful to the experiences of women while expressing genuine care and hope for men. Through seminars, workshops and other educational vehicles, A CALL TO MEN challenges men to reconsider their long held beliefs about women, in an effort to create a more just society. Please join us

They their was the recent effort to shield the identity of those accused of rape in the UK (u know so it doesnt destroy their lives if their innocent) feminists put a stop to that tho.

And your 1-33 stat is incorrect as an estimated 300,000 males are raped in prison every year.

NOW (largest feminist org in america) posts "action alerts" against shared parenting bills

they are also against boy only schools (not girl only schools tho) because they "promote sexism and feelings of supperiority"

AAUW tried to use the "wage gap" as justification for ignoring boys troubles in school

@A7Guitar Women have not always been oppressed. They have held some of the highest positions in society. In Egypt there were High Priestesses, Overseers, and yes even Pharaohs. The femmes tend to forget that and keep saying that we men have ALWAYS kept them down. Give me a break.

ok ive seen enough bs to realize most of you guys will never realize what equality is. It is not for you that I fight. I do not fight for equality for hate mongers such as yourselves. Instead I fight for equality for all people. You can sit and gripe all you want especially those of you who make crack pot theories of a "female hypocrissy". I say to you instead of spreading hate against women proclaiming men get it worse instead proclaim yourselves for equal rights of all and to help everyone!
