http://www.netbooknews.com Benchmarks of the Photofast G-Monster V4 line of 1.8-inch solid state drives which are in three flavors, with 40-pin ZIF, 44-pin IDE and 50-pin IDE connection interfaces. The Built-in Garbage Collection feature clears deleted data, relocating existing data onto its area. In this way, data fragmentation is reduced.
@ultrazero80 maybe because it is a PATA SSD designed for use with older machines that only have PATA ??????

Why in the world would you plug in your ssd thru PATA? You'll probably get 100 mb more on your benchmark if you use SATA II.

I tried to order the PhotoFast G-Monster 1.8" V4 64GB ZIF from their outfit in the UK and the company magically "ran out" just before I was to send them payment. They "suggested" I buy the 128GB drive instead for almost double the cost of the item I wanted.
I will not do business with PhotoFast in the future. Their business practices leave much to be desired.
