Demon's Souls Pure Black WT - Boletarian Palace 1-1 Phalanx + BP Miralda

The first in my Pure Black WT gameplay! It's sad that I already got killed so early on, but I didn't expect Miralda to combo me like that! Anyways, I made up for it by perfecting it once I came back. I did come unprepared to fight Phalanx, and I didn't want to go back to the Nexus, so I had to rely on my Blessed Knight Sword +5 to do the majority of the damage. Otherwise, I would have used Wrath of God to take out all of Phalanx's helpers, which would have sped the battle a bit faster.

i just beat the game for the first time, im on my NG+ and im play through with pure black, and im struggling. My guy is balanced with full dragon guillotine axe and black silver (i think) armor. i think im gunna start a brand new game and build a new char. I want to make a versatile melee tank, with buffing magic. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately for you, this game is more about your knowledge of the enemies and layouts of the stages, rather than how strong you are or what your build is. Any build can make it through NG+ and beyond. I would focus on trying to know your enemies more, and how to deal with mobs or enemies that you have issues with. Playing through Pure Black World Tendency is no easy matter; my runthrough of this game with PB Tendency was done after NG+7 so experience > build.

After 8 playthroughs, you don't really need that stuff anymore. It's just a bunch of Crescent Moon Grass anyways. Or other junk.

Ok, I have a pure black tendency for this level but Miralda wont appear at all....anyone have any solutions to that?

@zaraguth no way dude, Ninja Gaiden is much harder. I rage quit NG. Demon's Souls is a great challenge though, just not cheap.
