This is the Coronation Street Opening Credits which were used in episodes between 24th October 1999 & 6th January 2002. It is exactly the same as the previous opening sequence but the title card is now shown at the beginning of the credits

I think they did. The version which started in 1990 ended with the dog running past the Rovers but I dont know when that lasted till

I prefer this, it gives more of a nostalgic working-class feel to the programme instead of the pretentious crap which is shown today.

Actaully these opening titles started in 1990, not 1999 with just a few minor alterations throughout their 12 year run.
