robert deniro and al pacino in heat

as far as i'm aware the only time these 2 have done a scene together in a film, they were in godfather 2 i believe but never in the same shot.

this is a truely awesome scene from a great movie

This scene is like an apex for me. I bought the movie, not knowing that this was forthcoming. This transcends most anything in the history of Hollywood. Two super heavyweights, perhaps in the tail end of their respective primes, but the performances completely deliver what they both have on top of their game. Both of these actors were "The guys", and neither is backing down, neither one "wins". We may never see anything like this again...
