@Shiesen Well, it was Tony's chord sequence, Phil's lyrics though
-
He sounds exactly the same live as he does on the radio. Nothing fake, nothing edited. Just pure talent :)

Not many music artists who were popular in the 80's made the cross over to the 90's with great hits. Phil Collins is the exception.

@kyla2112 Cool! Thank ya dear. :)

@tall32guy It is Daryl and he, like Mike Rutherford, plays bass and guitar which is why he was chosen (besides being good at both). Mike plays bass on the old stuff that he originally played bass on and Daryl plays bass on the newer stuff. Draw the line at ...And Then There Were Three.

@insurance1968 Wow, that sure was insulting. Perhaps unintentionally, but insulting nonetheless. Genesis was never "Phils group". He did have a group, but it wasn't Genesis.

The greatest love of my life gave this song to me on tape 15 years ago. I still "hold on" to this song. I still love him, and my "heart" will always "hold on to that feeling". I will always be here for you. YOU know who you are.

I like to play this song on my acoustic guitar for people. The reaction I get from fans of this band are amazing. Phill really put some heart and soul into the lyrics.

@ppage24 lol. Everyone seems to think that this was a Phil's song but it was Tony Banks who wrote this piece of magic.
