Thank you for this lovely video. I really appreciate the angle it was filmed at so that I could see the thumb and fingers. I love Brazilian guitar and am hoping to move beyond the basic 2-bar bossa nova rhythm which I can now do fluently. Thank you for your help. Lovely Playing!
Great playing. Great tutorial. Would you be so kind as to demonstrate in a future video the difference between "anticipated"and syncopated beats. They seem prevalent in Brazilian guitar, but I don't know what they mean.

I went to Rio de Janeiro in 2008 to learn about Choro and Samba. I pulled some things off music I heard and people I played with, others from books.
