Here I am checking the operation of the diesel injector pumps on 37294,the plunger test is a way of making sure both the pump and injector on any given cylinder are operating properly,this test should ONLY be done very briefly as it basically gives the injector on just one cylinder a full fuel delivery subsequently that cylinder will overfuel whilst the others are at idle hence the knocking noise you can hear,as can be seen A2 and A3 seem to lag a little once the plunger is pushed indicating a possible future injector issue,an injector swop should see this fixed along with a fuel injection timing check
what i would give to work on a real engine like this
