Too bad the petition to bring it to the US failed. It would have been an awesome series. But then again, most anime fans in the US prefer mainstream and commercialized stuff like Gundam and Pokemon. Real classics like this won't sell because there aren't angst-filled teen heroes or flashy robots. Most people complain about LoGH because of too much "talking". Go figure.

my favourite of the opening songs; i don't mind the singers accent the tiniest bit and i think this song really communicates what a horrible blow losing kircheis was to reinhard.. its one of the great strengths of this show that a character who died pretty early on still feels like a strong presence. (sorry for the spoilers but the song makes it pretty clear what happens..)

dude I prefer this show to be in Japanese to be honest. I didn't get into it until I moved to Japan, and then I could draw similarities with the free planets alliance and the US today. I dunno but this anime is fucking epic!!! I like how the characters really grow on you and there are so many of them!! :O

The singer's accent actually helps me understand the music better than if it were pronounced correctly xD Anyway i love this opening and the series.
