All praise is due to Allah alone, may Allah send salutation and exalt the mention of Prophet Muhammad, after whom there is no other prophets.
The followings are brief words explaining the pillars of islaam concentrating on the most important points, and avoiding detailed elaboration.
1. Islaam is complete submission and obedience to Allah by having pure islamic monotheism.
*A person becomes a muslim by:
Believing in Allah
Testifying that Allah is only one worthy of being worshipped,and that Muhammad is His Messenger.
Worshipping Allah alone without ascribing partner to him
Disbelieving in Taaghoot(false gods)
2. Establishing salaah (prayer)
3. Paying Zakaah (obligatory charity).
4. Fasting Ramadaan
5. Performing hajj(pilgrimage)when capable
