After a serious competition from the Android and the iOS, Research in Motion [RIM/ the company behind the blackberry] finally made it — BlackBerry PlayBook is the 1st ever tablet to obtain a United States government security certification.
The certificate is given by the US government. It means that the PlayBook is a perfect device for you, for anyone, as security matters for Blackberry as it does for RIM, and they really care for you. It means to me that they are a conscious orientated company, who is not out there only to sell or make profit, but to deliver the best. As if anyone deserves the best, so Rim devices are designed to reach out the highest standard, just for you.
if you are aware of technology issues, and mostly if you are "security-conscious" person, you know that all companies should require such a high standard, and it is not only for those who loves to secure their privacy all the time.... In contemporary world it has become a necessity.
