  • I just love Cheryl Studer. What a warm, shiny voice.

  • herrliche Stimme, ein Genuß!!!! Danke!

  • No one could touch Studer in her prime.

  • What a glorious entreaty to The Blessed Virgin Mary by Saint Elizabeth of Hungary!

  • La Studer is not an Elisabeth, sound to much like Verdi and Puccini.

Listen to La Margiono, she has the colours for Wagner.

This is realy pretty, and beautiful in the extreme....:-)

Dont understand why lighter voices need to sing heavyer roles?

La Studer is Donna Anna, and Marchellin, Ariadne..and Adriana.

Her carreer has always been in 2 voices, the Mozart...lyric.

    And the Wagnerian, Verdi etc.

  • Haha, Funny Title! Actually the spelling is: Allmächt'ge Jungfrau"

  • Guiseppe Sinopoli conducted, it was a Bayreuth presentation staged and directed by Wolfgang Wagner, shown in 1985, 1986, 1987 and 1989, Tannhaeuser was Richard Versalle, Wolfram was Wolfgang Brendel

  • Magnifique video .Studer est superbe , merci

  • Also very nice.

  • By the way, who's conducting?
