Fractal Symphony

Seven minutes of crazy fractal stuff made using a program I wrote which makes it possible to keyframe various parameters to animate changes.

Sorry I hadnt watched the whole vid before posting - I should have said 'is the first section Julia sets?' the rest are obviously from the Mandelbrot. Cheers.

Some is Julia sets, some is Mandelbrots, and much is done by varying parameters which mean it's not quite either.

Nice color cycling. Are these from a Julia set or is it the Mandelbrot? Are you using direct x?

No, I don't use DirectX. For most of my software I use OpenGL, but this just uses some 2D image library.

Sorry, it's Windows-only. But I'm not giving that out either. I might consider selling it if there's enough interest, but would need to work on it a bit first before public consumption. There's lots of fractal programs out there already, but most seem aimed at stills, whereas mine allows you to keyframe parameters for easy animation.

I do already sell a 3D geometry program called Stella, but that's a different kettle of fish.
