man, if I was my age back then I'd be a way better guitarist than I am now. Learning to play songs by ear instead of looking up tabs would help a lot, but when the tab is there I just seem to go for it. :(

@ixlikexscurvy If it looks cool and the parts suck, it will suck. In other words, the age of the guitar isn't the important thing. It's how it was constructed, and how it's been cared for. That pretty much holds true for electric and accoustic guitars. There are some very nice looking old guitars that are un-playable. There are some ugly ass, beat up old guitars I'd trade my wife for. (OK not really...)
