Blocker's XT GT lap of Eastern Creek at Muscle Car Masters

Blocker's XT GT smokin the tyres during a lap of Eastern Creek Raceway at the Muscle Car Masters 2006. Despite the fact that the officials asked him to "put on a show" they ended up showing Blocker the exit gates! What a rort! They should've given him free entry for neXT years event!

@Mob01971 At the time of the "incident" the security guard told me he had been asked to call the police, to escort me off the premises (there were plenty of witnesses to this conversation..). I just laughed & explained what the head official had told me. Are you a member of the HSV club? Instead of all this typing crap, I will explain what happened. Our ex- president who was present for all the conversations, will give you his version also.. Surely we all can't be liars....

@GT9302 I don't believe I called you a liar at any stage. So, why was it this official never fronted to defend you? Did you get the guys name because It sounds like he was a Holden bloke trying to get you kicked out if this is the case.

@Mob01971 Sigh... At no time did I pass the car in front of me apart from the officials ushering me to the front of the line as we entered the track ( I explained this already...) I told the official what I was going to do & his exact words were what I mentioned in the previous post. If I got booted out for "putting on a show"without clearing it first, I would not be pissed off with the situation. You are calling me a liar Mob01971 & I certainly do not appreciate it...

@GT9302 on what you just said by your own admitance you went against what they said, don't pass anyone? Putting on a show doesn't say "hey do some burnout's" when the paperwork said no burnouts? As far as I'm concerned, whats in the video is nothing. Name calling not required, I never actually said anything nasty did I? As for a good lap, getting the number of laps I was supposed to would have sufficed, not one and a bit that I got.

@Mob01971 The "officials" actual words were as long as you do not pass anyone put on a show for the crowd. How can you give the HRT a good run on a parade lap? You're annoyed? I have to put up with every dickhead putting their 2 cents in when they don't actually know what went on...

@GT9302 at the end of the day, something certainly went wrong in the communication area as one official apparently says go do some burnouts and every other official spots the burnouts and asks the car to leave. All I know is it stuffed my laps and annoyed me because it was the one and only chance I had to give the HRT427 a good run before it was sold.

@GT9302 As I said, for some strange reason no other clubs or people at that event were "privy" to this "special" meeting, I was however not far at all behind the car in question, and I saw it pass other cars to get to the front as i was driving behind. I did however have a mate standing right in line with the car in question who saw the burnouts from about 20 feet away and he said the car was completely stationary at one point and appeared to be having trouble "hooking up" to do the burnout.

@Mob01971 Were you privy to the conversation with the "official"? I was asked to move to the front of the queue to be beside the other Polar White XTGT.. The car was never stationary whilst "attempting burnouts". You might want to get your facts straight before posting assumptions champ...

The problem with this was one "official' said "put on a show" at a meeting that no other display cars were privy to. The paperwork for the parade laps said "no overtaking and no standing burnouts". The car in question exited the pits and straight away passed 6 cars to get up in front, then attempted 3 times to do a burnout, this isn't shown on the video, the car was also completely stationary when attempting the burnouts, this is why the car was asked to leave. Shame it cut everyones laps short.
