VIDEO INFO:

Hadn't heard of this band or song before I played it in Drummania, but the intro is pretty fun, reminds me of something Tool might do.

This is from a pack of songs for Drummania that is full of songs shortened down to the length of a typical Drummania song, around 90-120 seconds, so it's not the full version of the song (to my knowledge).

This is also apparently the theme song for Edge from the WWE, and while I don't really watch wrestling, I do love the Botchamania series on YouTube. (Found that fact out about 10 minutes before posting this video up on YouTube, actually.)

My stick goes in front of the camera, but if you think about it, there's literally nowhere else I could place the camera and still get a nearly flat view of the screen.

Fraps, Camstudio, Camtasia, Playclaw, and every other screen recording program causes DTXMania to lag heavily, that's why I don't use them. DTXMania eats up a ton of processor speed, so using anything else while i'm playing it drops the FPS down to around 5.

Why don't you go practice on a real drum kit instead of wasting your time on this?

1) I've had a real drumkit for years before this game

2) I spend maybe 8-9 hours a week on video games, and I haven't even this in months now

3) I'm majoring in video and television, not drumming, so this isn't a career for me

4) Real drums are awesome, but for youtube videos, real drums don't have leaderboards, scores, note ratings, or a visual representation of what you're hitting for non-drummers/musicians to follow along and understand how "good" you're "playing".

I never said gaming was a career, I said it *isn't* a career for me. I'm majoring in video and television, aka making music videos for bands, editing drama and television shows, so forth. Look up "kinetic typography azuritereaction" for an example.

I play real drums, people watch these videos for the above reasons I listed: because they involve scores (competition), coordination, and rhythm. Numa Numa is famous: do you think all its viewers are singers?
