Chautauqua Lake Tornado / Waterspout

Filmed this EF2 tornado (waterspout) on Chautauqua Lake from my hotel in Mayville, NY. It touched down in Mayville as a tornado then moved across the lake as a waterspout before doing more damage as a tornado on the other side. It's difficult to see, but this is reaching the lake, (evidenced by the other supporting videos) even though a condensation funnel is not visible from this angle until a minute into the video.

That's what happened here. The tornado first hit Mayville, NY before crossing Chautauqua lake and hitting another small town.

its technically not a waterspout unless its in the water. i have been chasing them suckers for along time,and my daughter thts 13 wants to chase them and she wants to be a geologist and study natural disasters(:

Ah to everyone bagging on Chautauqua you can go outside and play hide and go f*** yourselves!!! Not all of us are stuck up!!!! And we are not all rich!! Some of my good friends were in a hard situation and got there homes COMPLETELY ruind!!! So just shut up!!!!!!!!

@shaw561 Tornadic activity is picking up in Pa, Ohio and Ny lately I see. When I lived there we had a few funnel clouds, mainly the outer part of the tornado that touched down over the hill. Crazy weather.
