  • Very nice,

Thank you for your video. You have an excellent command of your arpeggios. It is very musical and melodic. Is there a method, exercise(s), strategy, or book you could tell me about to get my arpeggios to this point?

  • @francescorenzitti

Well, if you think technically, I would advice you to watch Al di Meola for example, he's best at this stuff. Get some concert and closely watch right hand.

Then, gypsy players are good, watch Rosenberg trio concert for example.

There is nothing mysterious about arpeggios, you have to work on your picking, and to pay attention to timing. If I had to recommend you a book, that would be "Rock Discipline" that's alfa and omega.

This is not so difficult, just a matter of habit!

  • This is really interesting. Strangely enough I think this chord progression sounds like a piece of classical music - it reminds me of Bach.

  • @yourforte Thanks very much!

  • @guitarcd I'm not looking for a YouTube argument , but there is a lot you can take from this video no doubt about it.

  • @paulb7 I'm sorry, you're missing his constructive criticism. This could be a useful lesson to students, but it is a demonstration of technique and not a lesson. When it's time for me to transcribe or watch hands, I'll go to a Joe Pass video.

  • that massive climb down reminds me of moonlight sonata :D

  • this is awesome :D

  • respect

  • So does this follow harmonization in different keys?

  • @lhurien You can watch what he plays and figure it out. Write the chords down and find the arpeggios for them. Just think of it this way - it's all right in front of you...there is no mystery

  • Your lessons show that you have learned the lesson very well but as far as teaching me something it would be very difficult to work with. If you mean these to be lessons you need to approach them differently. They are demonstrations of your ability but not very useful pedagogically.
