At first I didn't notice it was in kmh I saw it get to 70 in first I was thinking damn thats one long first gear.

Nice. I've had my '96 imp for about 10yrs now. Within the first couple of weeks owning it / driving it around to make sure all was stable... I took that bitch down the 10W in Cali and I hit about 156mph and it felt AWESOME. Only did it for a few seconds but it was still worth it. Haven't hit that fast ever again, don't even wanna try. Thank GOD he let me do it once.

i just bought the same car and paid 175 for the car put another 250 into it and now this car runs and drives almost like a dream steerings a little off to the left but other than that bearings are great this car will coast for 2 miles before slowing down

0-96 MPH, did the conversion, close enough, pretty good. Thanks for posting, I have been wondering what it would be like to drop the hammer on mine. I have 133 k miles and need some maintenance, brakes, shocks, so I haven't. I have had it up to a respectable speed and runs great.
