One of the reasons Kata was developed was so that one could train and work on strikes, blocks and movements without having a partner. Also it's a good way to grow spiritually in your Martial Arts. There is so much more but I'll allow you to discover that for yourself as you continue with your training.

Tournaments and competition are for kids & under belts not men. Bis mil laah Ir rah man nir raheem. Rob a few months ago my son was Killed and I don't have time in my life to play !
