aah giodog2000 how i wish id seen this video before i attempted the replacement! Ive stupidly pressed the rear brake pedal while the pads were out so now the piston has been forced against the caliper...! How do i move the brake piston back!? Many thanks!

Thanks for these great instructions. I just replaced pads on my GS but the pads are tight around the rotor and I can barely spin rear wheel by hand. Is this normal? The pistons just kept pushing out fast after I pressed them in. Is there an adjustment ?

we are having a great trip...both bikes have new pads...my bike there is a rubbing noise...tried to make an adjustment and it helped but still makes a noise without braking...normal? Your video has come in handy as I knew it was....

giodoog...we are using your video now to change our rear pads that we bought from Happy Trails..they seem really tight especially the inside pad....is this normal?

@lsoph9 Hi to both of you , hope you are having a great trip. Been following you guys via the the threads ;-)
New pads do fit tight but make sure the pistons are fully pushed in and if they are make sure the gap between both pads (once installed in the caliper ) is the same the whole way from top to bottom before installing on the disc. If everything is fine, I wouldn't worry about how tight tey fit. When you do the second bike it should be the same , if not , double check both . Let me know

@lsoph9 Yes , a LITTLE rubbing noise is normal. It shouldn't be a grinding noise or un-even rubbing while you spin the wheel . I'm happy the vid came out handy for you guys. Be safe , have fun and I wish you some cooler temps .... ;-)
