i have converted my 966 to e and i can tell you now in race conditions 4s will not work i have tryed 5 different motors and only the 2000kv worked and i raced it against nitro and the nitro was heaps quiker in a stright line you need to run 6s its the only way
someday you will figure out a better setup than the 4s lipo you are trying now. In my opinion i think you should been up to 6s lipo cause thoose poor 4s will burn after three laps on a big track, you cant take the same specs as a 1/8 nitrobuggy, it´s to different worlds. I have 966 and will buy some parts from your conversion though but i will put 3s lipopacs on each side of the chassis, not the best balance but at least my car will hold up for ten minutes without thermal shutdown.
