now that ashley got the rood inverse sign or blood-sin I wonder what would he do next? where would he go? find Merlose and make some descendants? I hope there is a sequel to this in PS3 or PC.

Wow... that was so confusing. So was Ashley pretending to be Sydney? That whole scene made like no sense.

This game looks like it was left open for a sequel but they never got around to it, which kinda sucks. They're too busy with spinoffs nowadays.

I don't think it's possible at this point. The guy behind this, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Final Fantasy XII left SquareEnix (Yasumi Matsuno). I guess someone else could take over, but I'm not sure it would live up to this game.

Lol your commentary is great, but that wasn't Sydney's soul. That was actually Sydney (disguised as Ashley in order to get into the mansion because Sydney is wanted), and he and the Duke had to die to lift the curse of the Blood Sin in order to free Joshua of it. His successor is Ashley, and he inherits all of the powers of the dark (thus being able to change his appearance, like Sydney did in the beginning of the game).

why you didnt do a playthrough to the places that you need the rood inverse to enter :(!?

I've recently done one in a movie style. All the scenes and bosses and a whole tonne of different notes (including ultimania translations) but no commentary, menus or needless gameplay.

Yeah, that was weird. It's certainly better than to have BAD voice acting, but with the game otherwise having some of the most impressive cinematics of its time (camera-work, dialogue and sound) it's kind of a shame. I would have sat back and relaxed and watched that awesome stuff.

I THINK what happened at the end, was, Sydney was impersonating Ashley so he could get near the Duke and then did his vanish thing. Then it turns out that Ashley is the one "chosen" to inherit Lea Monde's power after him and therefore he has the same power of illusion among other things.

Who knows what I'm forgetting, tho. It's been such a long time since I've gone through this.
