Dragon Farts 7.5 inch by 9 foot rocket with onboard video camera. Flown on Cesaroni K750 with 2 Cesaroni G115's ignited at 4 seconds and Cesaroni G79's ignited at 6 seconds. Rocket attained an altitude of 3293 feet with a max velocity of 304 miles per hour.
If viewed carefully you can see air starts igniting with a change in smoke color and you can see nozzle caps blowing off at airstart ignition. Also at apogee ejection event you can see noise maker being thrown free from shock cord. This was later found on the ground near the launch tower.

  • The footage is great! Is this from an Aiptek?? If so, do you have to modify the camera for filming or is it a plug & play?

  • Yes the camera is an Aiptek 720 HD and no modifications were done to the camera. Installed it and that was it.
