You said a computer simulation compiles more data than any experiment - which is a complete subversion of the scientific process. Create theory (which in most cases is a mathematical model), make predictions (computer simulations generally, for complex models), conduct experiement (gather data), amend theory.
You didn't say the data is pointless, you said the experiment is pointless, which is wrong. Confirmation of a theory/model isn't pointless, btw.

Apparently, all your high school science classes were completely useless, if you can't tell the difference in importance between the results of a computer simulation (the predictions from hypothesis, which is a mathematical model - especially in the context of a computer simulation) and experimentation (you know, the next step of the scientific method)?

Your "computer simulations" are the THEORY. Their results are the PREDICTIONS. If the PREDICTIONS match the (experimental) DATA then the THEORY holds.
