I found this old piece of shit, thats what it was when I picked it up out of an alley abondoned. It had compression so I brought it home. All it needed was a carb job then it ran. I totally pulled it apart, cleaned, primed and painted everything, and lubed everything. It has adjustable wheels, throttle control, easy start pull, mulching blade and rear bagger. This is the finished project.

  • Dude, that type of engine is rare. ( the vertical pull starter type ) their worth alot more then 50 bucks.

  • @1972FordF150 that sucks because it went for $20. Who would by it though, a lawn mower collector? lol By the way, I got a 2001 Ford F150 :) I'm uploading a video about it right now. Hopefully by the time you read this, it is up, if you have a couple moments you should watch it.

  • looks good what paint did you use on the engine and pullstart etc? i used to do this sort of thing to do it properly how you have takes hours of prep. well done, good job.

  • @analoguebuff Thanks, I fully preped it including cleaning, degreasing, and lots of sanding. Also primed it. I used a regular semi-gloss black and a hamer-tone silver for the base to hide slight imperfections in the metal. Sorry to reply so late, I was just looking at this video, at I never remember seen this comment in my comment box!
