As unbelievable as it may sound, it really was impossible to enjoy the show as much as I thought I would! I told my girl next time, if we can't afford to buy both our tickets down in the front row WE AINT GOING. I love Jill TOOO MUCH to have sat so far away. But, I am happy that I finally got to see her in concert. Last night I literally lived a dream :-)

I PROMISE YAWL I AM JILL'S NUMBER FAN ON THE PLANET!

  • Girl, i feel your pain! Lol. I saw Jill and maxwell at Staples Center in LA on June 5th, and omg, my seats were just like yours!! I was so jealous of the people in the front, and they weren't as excited down there as i was!! I loved Jill's set, it was great! It's so good to see someone else excited about Jill, none of my friends like her music! I hope u get a better experience next time! This was my 1st time seeing Jill as well, can't wait for next time!

  • @MariahFan500 Honey I thought I was the only one who felt that her set was rushed! It was like okay sing crown royal--CHECK! sing, the way--CHECK, sing Come see me CHECK! I totally felt that the show was rushed even though she sang for about a good hour... maybe a little longer. But I just chopped it up to the fac that she's on tour, and is probably tired of singing the same shit over and over. All in all though, she was still AMAZING and I wouldn't trade that night for the world.

  • @MariahFan500 Regrettably no. We didn't stay for the Maxwell set. They were running late with changing the stage set, and by the time Jill finished singing I was soooo ready to go. Although I enjoyed myself I'd been throughly irritated the entire time so all I could think about was getting the hell back to my car. But, I do wish we had stayed now. I'm not a die hard Maxwell fan, but it would not have hurt to stay and support him too.

  • @MzSkribble Hate to say this but Jill performed almost two hours in Chicago and I was wishing her performance was shorter. Even though it was my first time seeing her, I enjoyed her performance but I went to see my baby Maxwell and he did not disappoint. As for the comedian, Maxwell can get rid of him. He was disgusting.

  • @sandrawilliam48 Yeah, I totally agree with you about the comic. I was completely annoyed with his set.... And um, you don't have to hate how you felt about Jill's performance, how rather, how long it was. You wen there to see Max, and I was there to see Jill... period.

  • I went to the concert in Washington, DC (I was in the 3rd row on the floor, right hand side) and I had an AMAZING time seeing Maxwell & Jill Scott perform! When Jill was performing, I only stood when others were performing (due to the fact that I am tall and didn't wanna block anybody's view) so I had moved to the front of the stage when Maxwell came on because of that.

  • you know what,i feel you 100% and i felt the same way.man its like we was in the same shoes cause in cleveland that concert was just man...i wasnt feeling it like i did the other 3 times before when i seen her.seats are horrible and yes that was alot of money well spent on that concert.i felt that it wants intimate enough for me.i like theatres i like those type of places for concerts.arena's are not for jill n maxwell the seats were little as hell,i couldnt stand up n dance people gettn mad.

  • @MzSkribble Did you end up staying for Maxwell's set? I stayed for both, because I was going to get my money's worth! I mean, seeing Jill was worth it, but it felt too short for me! It all felt so rushed, at least here in LA. How did you feel about her time on stage? It wasn't enough, in my opinion.

  • @rtfan2007 Yes, so I've been told. But again this was not only my first concert ever but also my first trip to Phillips so... you live and you learn right? I bet next time, I'll have a different story to tell. Bet that!
