Play music over Ventrilo with a Mac without hearing it over your speakers.

  • @Medikatamus I used VLC to open a stream. I think it can play playlist files. You change what audio device VLC sends to under Audio > Audio Device. If Soundflower is installed correctly you should see it as a selectable option in System Pref. > Sound. Do not select either of these soundflower devices in your system pref. I wasn't able to figure a method out with ITunes because as of now it only sends output to the default audio device.

  • I'm confused, I've got Soundflower and Ventrilo all set up. You show VLC to be able to go to the audio and hit sunflower 2ch. But mine somehow won't show anything and I had already rebooted my mac. Do you have any suggests as to why this won't work? Also, where did you get the music for the VLC? Is there anyway for it to play iTunes, because I can't seem to make it work. Thank you.
