  • this is soooooo not Montessori it goes completely against Montessori philosophy, it's awfull!!!!!!!!!

  • Horrible! This is the kind of material that makes authentic Montessori look so very bad. The pink tower presentation is beautiful when done by properly trained guides. Maria is rolling over!

  • Plus side, the associated video links have plenty of videos of actual kids doing the pink tower in an actual Montessori fashion.

  • I am sure our Montessori friends will either laugh or

puke or puke their guts out laughing at this one . . .

    Roll Over Maria .

  • I am laughing...Maria is for certain rolling in her grave over this video...

It is cutsie wootsie and the kids will love the cartoon but it sure isn't how it will be presented in the Casa...And the only thing related to the 'method' here is the colour and shape of the cubes.

    montessori trained and beyond

  • @Limastudent rubbish- Dr. Montessori did NOT encourage fantasy in the 3-6 group. Anyone can start a school and call it Montessori, very sad. And it IS being embraced by the world - do some research my friend.

  • I totally disagree with you and wonder where you got your Montessori training! Thankfully almost all of the responses to this sickening video, taking away the whole premise of the value of the pink tower, felt the same as I! Bet you like Spongebob too!

  • Look, no hands! The young child builds intelligence with real experience, with the hands and brain both engaged. If a young child watches this, not only is she deprived of her own activity, she's also watching the activity happening without the hands of the acorn.

  • Seriously, just when you think that non-qualified supposed Montessorians cant butcher the method even more, this comes along! I too just felt Montessori turn in her grave! Shocking!!

  • This is really terrible. I hope no one really thinks it represents Montessori education for children. It would be nice if the owners of this company would get Montessori teacher training and rethink this effort.

  • Is this for real??? This is so wrong on soooo many levels...I think I just felt Maria Montessori roll over in her grave...
