  • where's the button "I love it"? I can't find it near "I like it"

Awesome, great Ian Paice funk beat

  • @dockaiser With all due respect my friend, THEE Godfather of electric guitar is the other JIMI, having influenced everyone else that followed, including the other JIMMY. = ) You can hear Jimi's influence on this tune clearly, mostly thru the use of the Univibe effect Tommy used, as well as some of the licks. You are certainly correct that there can be no "best" player. Its all a matter of taste. I LOVE this era of DP and hate it when the so-called "Purists" disrespect these guys. This SMOKES!!

  • Ahhhhh.... and that's how it's done. Indeed it is.

  • Wunderbar!!!

  • @LukeBerto Because he wanted to give us Come taste the band. :-D

And I thank him for this everytime I listen to the record. ;-)

  • @saradisper Απαιτουμε Live των Purple me Coverdale και Glenn.......

  • Regardless of anything else, when they were on they were ON!!! This show is so over the top it's unbelievable. Good luck to any groups trying to top this one!

  • @LukeBerto I guess 'favorite' is the only thing that comes close...

  • Rory was the man.

  • WOW!!!.... DP was soooo much more of a muture sounding band with Tommy aboard....Its a shame that it was such a short time these musicians were together.. At least we have Come Taste The Band to enjoy inperpetuity....RIP Tommy

  • one of deep purples best songs

  • I saw both II & IV in the 70's (Old timer). Both were kick ass in concert. You were at a DP concert, and there were none better. Sure, they had their bad days like everyone else. But you KNEW when you went to see them it was gona be fuckin GREAT! Check out their performance in '74 California Jam. It was Sabbath,Eagles, etc., they blew everyone offstage. The last act didnt want to go on after them. They said"how do we follow that?"
