Victorious Seattle Seahawks fans catch the last trains from King Street Station, probably the best option while a snow storm brings the region's transportation system to its knees in what locals are calling the Snowpocalypse. While people grumble and complain about the delays, it beats having to drive on icy I-5.
man, i felt sorry for the people stuck on that elevator for like 2 hours, the sounder system is a fucking joke, i had to call in the troops from tacoma to come get me, they werent to happy... ahahaha

I blame the BNSF railroad. Didn't they realize that switches could get frozen? I've heard they used blowtorches to thaw them. On Friday, I rode Sounder up to Everett and compared it to the bus back to Seattle. I'd take Sounder anytime.

These must've been the FIRST two trains after the game. My son and I caught was was the last train out, heading north to Everett. The last Tacoma train pulled in and loaded first, and it was several more minutes before our northbound train arrived.
I do remember that security guy, he totally sounded like Carter from the Rush Hour movies!

Ha ha. Thanks for the clarification. I was just a curious passerby who had nothing to do with the game.

I'm not sure. After they called "all aboard" and closed the doors the train sat there for at least 10 minutes waiting for the signal to turn green (switches frozen?). Maybe it was. I had to leave after that. Certainly, there were more delays for the trains before this one because there were tons of angry people and the police had to calm things down.
If you listen closely when the southbound train pulls in at 1:52 a guy says "about f*cking time."
