I like this way better in season 1. I mean, the timing of it here seems a little odd. Still, I listened to it three times just now. It's beautiful.

Peter Sellers was a great performer. I love how he catches the barbell and proclaims "I caught it!" It's obvious that he actually came close to dropping it, and ad-libbed that part. Genius.

The song "It's Not Easy Being Green," was originally a "Sesame Street," song but to the popularity of the phrase it was also performed on this episode of "The Muppet Show."

@trailmixgang Interestingly enough, it already had been peformed on the Muppet Show before, in the Peter Ustinov episode of season 1. I kind of suspect that Jim Henson used it to criticize Peter Sellers: "There used to be a me, but I had it surgically removed." Kermit : ""It's not easy being green".
