An interview with rider Rob Warwick about the Flaka. He responds to what his father, Dr. Tony Warwick says in his analysis in The Physics of the Flaka. He discusses the apparent wind's role in the move, and ties it in to the discussion of the center of effort. The interview touches on the science of the move, but also discusses technique.

  • The center of effort is also effected by the board hitting the water, if this windsurfer was doing this trick of a "clif" or *a water fall, the center of effort would in no way be at that spot.

So when the board is in the air, it must require some guessing/sense/anticipation from the windsurfer part on where the center of effort is going to be when the board hits the water again... (at least when your trying it at first)

    I would think...?
