I just heard OMT in Davis CA, as they toured the west coast. I'd recommend catching their shows or their recordings.
They're a very talented string ensemble, mixing bluegrass, jazz, and classical themes with wit and reverence in the original compositions.
Their pieces vary from this meditative layering of rhythm and melody from their newest album to crowd-pleasing jazz variations on bluegrass and classical themes.
I hope they keep composing, playing, recording, and touring together.
